I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Child Psychology. I am also currently undertaking a professional qualification in Behavioural Therapy. I am very excited to be working with all individuals to prepare, coach, motivate and support them in exams, presentations, and personal growth. I believe it is very important, as a continuous learner, to remain patient, flexible and understanding as everyone learns and grows at different rates with their unique skills and abilities. My goal is to motivate individuals to becoming more confident not only in their desired subject, but also in themselves mentally.
I have been currently working in behavioural therapy for the past 5 years. In my current role I work with a range of children, young adults and adults with regards to their mental health and behavioural challenges. Within my role I create behavioural plans, set targets for clients, write assessment reports, analyse data, conduct a number of assessments ranging from functional behaviour assessments. I am also trained in analytical report writing inclusive of behavioural reports and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). My work relies heavily on the science of Applied Behavioural Analysis, which uses direct observation and measurement. I am currently undertaking my qualification to gain my Board Certified Behavioural Analysis (BCBA) qualification, which will allow me to take on more cases, and run assessments independently. Furthermore, through this I assist numerous patients in a high-pressure environment. These environments range from homes, schools, youth clubs, hospitals and clinical settings. I also run 1:1 and group self development and personal growth sessions online for those on request.
